Bearing Group was founded by Michael Thom, an operations and digital product leader with more than a decade of experience in healthcare consulting, service delivery, process improvement, technology partnerships, and the development of custom business applications.
The work has often lived between disciplines: translating operational needs into clearer processes, turning scattered requirements into useful products, and helping teams move from broad ambition to decisions they can actually implement.
Bearing Group is a way to bring that experience into focused advisory work while also creating software around problems worth solving.

I started Bearing Group to create a thoughtful home for the kind of work I find most useful: helping people understand a difficult situation, make sound decisions, and build something better from there.
